Library feature is an feature present in Windows 7. Libraries are where you go to manage your documents, music, pictures, and other files. You can browse your files the same way you would in a folder or you can view your files arranged by properties like date, type, and author.

Follow this step to Change Windows 7 Library Icon

1. Click Start.
2. Click Computer and go to C:Usersyour Windows UsernameAppDataRoamingMicrosoftWindowsLibraries
3. At this point you will need to open your Notepad.
4. Drag and drop the Library icon you wish to change to the blank Notepad. (make sure that the files you drag have .XML extension).
5. A lot of codes will appear in the Notepad.
6. Just add this piece of code among the codes: <iconReference>Address_of_your_new_icon</iconReference>
7. Address_of_your_new_icon is nothing else than the path to the new icon you wish to substitute to the default one.
8. Save the file and exit.
9. Done!
