Google Nexus One, the most-awaited mobile phone of the year, is ready for launch. Google has confirmed that it is working on its own phone, which will be called the Google Nexus One. In the last few days, the internet was bombarded with rumors of the Google phone being called the Google Nexus One.
The Wall Street Journal, which first reported the name Nexus One, also said that Google would directly sell its phone to customers, by 2010. Google has now confirmed the news and said that the Google Nexus One will be launched by January 2010.Bellow are some cool features of this phone.

- Hardware: HTC is manufacturing and fulfilling the hardware needs of the Android-based phone.
- Software: Google has designed and developed the user interface as well as the apps that will run on this phone.

- Selling Mechanism: Google will sell it online by itself not to forget, it will be unlocked as well.
- Carrier-free : Nexus One is independent of carrier, so customers will have to get a carrier of their choosing.
- Processor : Powered by the high performance Snapdragon processor.

- Keyboard: On-screen keyboard.
- Other: Scroll bar, animated desktop wallpaper.
- Launch Date : Late January (May be pushed to February).
- Microphone : 2 mics, one located in the front for voice conversations, the other one placed in the back to reduce background noise.
