Flight Control HD From Intel appup Center

In a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the highest, the excitement rating for this game would probably 6. Not that it’s boring, but the game is just too simple. Yes, you might get addicted to it, but there’s no thrill in finishing the game. One reason why you would want to finish the game is that you have nothing to do to kill time.

Flight Control, has the key essentials in making a game a success. Yes it has that ‘addiction’ factor, but it does not boil to the extreme. Unlike other airport management games or flight simulation and control games, Flight Control is limited with the basic things about managing an airport. Making planes land and avoiding air collision. That’s probably the whole concept of it.

But, in fairness to the game, for each level you finish there is a level of difficulty which you may find interesting and very challenging. This is probably what makes Flight Control an addictive game. Completing each level will give you some kind of satisfaction that makes you want to go the next level. But the challenges in each level is, sometimes, very intermediate. Not that you would expect a very difficult round, except maybe when you confuse yourself, but an average Joe may configure how to resolve problems in the game, making it less challenging.

The challenges may seem easy, but wait until the confusion begins. This would probably be the most difficult part or challenge in the game. Making you confused of how to manage airplanes and land them safely, avoiding air collision, and wrong runways. There are also add-ons like when Air Force One decided to drop by. Or an emergency helicopter came swooshing across the screen. But after a few failures or mistakes, you’ll get the hang of it.

Unlike other airport management games, where a more realistic approach is incorporated in the game, Flight control is very much limited to maneuvering airplanes. In other games you get to decide which airport or which flight you can control. You also set destinations, estimated time of departures, calculating time of arrivals, and the rest of the drill, giving you a more real time management of what an airport or airplane does. In other flight simulation games, you even get to decide which cities or countries you want your airplane operate. There are other features which include speed, elevation, distance and other realistic factors.

So for Flight Control, this is probably the basic flight simulation game you would encounter. If you want to be an air traffic controller, or a simulation the very least, then you might want to try this game first before going to more serious and extensive simulation games. Flight Control can be exciting for first time players, but as soon as you finish the game, you might just end up forgetting about the game. So enjoy every level, and try to master the skills in dealing with the different challenges along with it. May it be an Air Force One or an emergency helicopter, or simply an airplane trying to land safely, learn the techniques, over and over, to get a perfect score at the end of the game.
