Windows 7 has been very recently released for public, it is the most efficient and better OS released by Microsoft till date, I would say it is upgraded version of vista after removing many buggy things and make it more flexible and faster now. - 16GB available disk space (32-bit) / 20GB (64-bit)
- DirectX 9 graphics processor with WDDM (Windows Display Driver Model) 1.0 or higher drive

One good thing is that people who have purchased Windows vista after June 2009 will get a free upgrade to Windows 7. But if you order a Win7 CD in this case, you will have to pay about 20$ as handling fees.
