With most of us having our fingers crossed from the official Apple source, BGR blog has cited a new twist to the story. Much to the disappointment of most of us, BGR refutes the theory of the iPhone 5 being in its release stage. According to BGR, the iPhone 5 still remains in its engineering verification stage 3, which is the third revision phase of test engineering.

As per NGR, iPhone 5 has yet to measure its design verification test, after the successful passing of which it will go into mass production. Hence, in other words, what most believe in iPhone 5 being in mass production with some production house located off shores is refuted plainly as a fabric of one’s imagination.

BGR cites examples of how the past iPhones have arrived in similar fashion. It states as to how the Verizon iPhone 4 arrived at EVT2 stage in the middle of November 2010, followed by its entering EVT3 in November end, and ultimately going for DVT2 in the closing stages of December. Thus, getting carried away by all the news pertaining to iPhone 5 is not right, and one should take every rumor surrounding this next gen iPhone with a pinch of salt. Along with the testing phase, BGR has also confirmed on some of those elusive new hardware features, comprising of supposed much thinner form in aesthetics. As such, the hardware is said to certainly feature 4G LTE radios. The blog also makes confirmation on the NFC Technology being adapted to beef up its hardware with most high-end devices from competing vendors.
