iPhone 5 Will Have 8-pin Dock Connector
Several reports previously hinted on the iPhone 5 pin port connectivity, depicting that the iPhone 5 along with the latest iPads will all be replacing the current 30 pin port connectivity parameters. However, lately all the reports previously speculating on the iPhone 5 and iPad pin dock connectivity have come under scrutiny. Although unofficially, the reports from iLounge claim that an 8-pin connector could be implemented by Apple instead. The reports confirmed that 16- or 19-pin connectors seemed practically hard to be synced with the port’s small size. Thus supporting the need for Apple’s additional pins beyond what USB/Micro-USB has to offer. As per iLounge Apple could also look into the arena of having its Dock Connector name changed to something entirely different, and which might tap the fancy of its users acumen better.
As coming from the same iLounge source, Apple might also be working on linking up iOS 6 with Bluetooth 4. This might garner technological enhancement in the context of allowing other iOS 6 devices to display messages from your iPhone. This in fact would also allow your iPod nano to display messages from your iPhone, whenever you are on a run. Likewise, this technology would enable one to make a call from an iPad, or an iPod touch, or even an iPod nano. Thus, relying on iPhone 5 could be handy, but not left restricted. But all this has only been confirmed by an outside source so far, and which hasn’t been discussed by Apple or revealed in any of its Worldwide Developers Conference so far. So as to say, its reality might be possible, but not certain as of today. Apple had confirmed that iPhone 5 would be banking on an all-new technology. We can just be hopeful that this could be a part of the awaited technology which the iPhone 5 inherits.
