The Internet giant Google is planning to launch a ‘mini’ version of Nexus One which will be pocket friendly. The executives of Google India head Mr. Shailesh Rao told CNBC TV 18 representative Mr. Ankit. After an editorial meet with Google India Head, Mr. Ankit informed this via a tweet on twitter.
“Nexus One will not come to India in its US avatar, the India specific Google Phone may be a stripped down version and priced lower!”
Google is targeting to capture a niche in Indian smart phone market and its main aim to offer the phones at affordable price. As for now Nokia and Blackberry are favorite among the users while Apple iPhone lost its place due to its steep price.
