Disable restart after Windows Automatic Updates in Vista

After completing Windows updates on your vista you should see popup screen for reboot.If you want to disable use the following solution.

1. Press Windows Key + R (RUN)

2. Type “gpedit.msc” (without quotes) then press enter

3. Navigate to:
Local Computer Policy >> Computer Configuration >> Administrative Templates >> Windows Components >> Windows Update

4. Doubble Click on: No auto-restart with logged on users for scheduled automatic updates installations

5. Select Enabled and Press OK

6. Press File & Exit

    I never used Vista OS. Right now i am using Windows 7 Ultimate and Windows XP Service pack 3 :D
